Which states require that my exam be monitored?

The following states require a monitor be present while you take your exam.  If you are taking your exam for credit in any of the states listed below, then you must NOT open the exam until you are with your monitor and follow all instructions for your state.

(*Florida and Ohio only require that an AFFIDAVIT be signed and submitted to us.  This means that you do not need a monitor, but that you and another person must sign the form affirming that you did take the exam without any outside assistance and without an open book.)

The following states require that a monitor be present while taking your exam:

Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Connecticut, District of Columbia, *Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, *Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming
